SOLAR series is the most cycle-resistant series out of WINNER program.
It includes all flooded lead technologies providing suitable solutions for all deep cycle applications:
With American traction plate: solid American-type flat traction plates with grids covered with a tight paste of active material with a great resistance to corrosion. Porous fiberglass separators for low electrical resistance. Toughened paste and sulfate lead provide longer service life, while the embedded terminal prevents its damage, even during high discharge.
With tubular plate: solid positive tubular plates and flat negative plates covered with paste, which provide high strength even in harsh conditions. The high porosity of the rubber separators and non-woven “gauntlet” of low electrical resistance, together with the anti-corrosion columns, provide longer life, even under a high number of deep cycles.
WINNER SOLAR is resistant to deep and repeated discharge cycles, as well as subsequent charging, by adopting the appropriate plate design according to the depth of discharge requirements.
The series follows EN / DIN / BCI specification in terms of cycle resistance:
300 cycles according to EN 60254-1 / EN 50342 for flat types of plates
600 cycles according to SBA0802 standard for American plate types
1200 cycles according to EN 60254-1 for tubular types of plates
